Poker rake on Royal Caribbean

Anyone know the rake on the electronic poker pro tables on Royal Caribbean. I have been sailing NCL and their regular poker Texas Hold Em is a ridiculous 10% with a $25 max making it unplayable. Was wondering if the electronic games were cheaper.

Thanks

I too would like to know. I just got back from the Breakaway, and you are correct! I do not know how people can just give the house (boat) their money! In 6 hours the players at the table will have no money left. You are better off playing VP or BJ.

The rake is ridiculous but I look at it as the price of admission to play in such an easy game. The players come in on a whim, sometimes drunk, and usually underfunded. I was there every night with one other "regular" on a 4 day cruise and we ate them alive.

I concur. With it being the only thing to do once the casino closes, you get to play with all the patrons who are either intoxicated at that hour, or the people who have just lost a lot at the tables or slots. Most have no idea what they are doing. Too easy. My wife and I make a killing between 1:00-5:00am. The ridiculous rake is well worth it if you know how to play. Reading people is very easy with a room key in their hand. Once you sit down and start observing you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Good luck!

I love poker. Play a couple of tournaments a month. Consider myself an above average player.

As mentioned, play late and sober you can do pretty well. Myself I'm usually asleep [emoji42] by 1am.

The tournaments, you may as well play bingo. Not worth the price of admission.

Yep.

I hope there aren't too many "regs" on our January Allure of the Seas sailing ... The only thing better than having a great cruise vacation is defraying the cost while on that same vacation!

Bump.

Just booked a cruise on Oasis OTS sailing March 18. On Allure last year, there were 2 tables but only one that worked. (That meant the house would kill the cash game to run a tournament on the one working table, to my dismay.) Here’s hoping they have no such issues on Oasis!

With these rakes I wonder why RC didn't fly in a mechanic by helicopter to get it fixed.
