Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel with both airport shuttle and cruise port shuttle

Hi,

My mom has asked me to book her a hotel before her RCCL cruise out of the Baltimore cruise port. She specifically asked me to find a hotel that has both an airport shuttle and a cruise port shuttle. I was hoping to find one in the inner harbor area so that she can do a bit of sightseeing before boarding her cruise ship. Any suggestions? Thanks!

There are none. The Best Western O'Donnell is NOT in Inner Harbor and it is at a truck stop. People here stay there but I'd NEVER let anyone I knew do that.

Any Inner Harbor hotel is going to be around a $15 cab ride or less for Uber/Lyft to the pier and around 40 from the airport.

Some favorites are Renaissance, Marriott Waterfront, Hyatt, Sheraton, Courtyard Inner Harbor, Homewood Suites and Hilton Garden Inn. The Kimpton Hotel Monaco is also nearby and I love it but it's a couple blocks farther from the Inner Harbor area.

Some of the airport hotels may give a shuttle ride to the port, and they do have airport shuttles. You would have call and ask the hotel.

But no sight seeing nearby. But there is a HUGE mall and casino nearby at Arundel Mills.

The Hyatt Place BWI has a package but it is not good for anything other than resting. The package there can only be booked by a TA through a vendor. You may be able to call the hotel directly, NOT the toll free number, for additional info

I am surprised you didn't get chastised and taken to the woodshed with your description of the Best Western.

When I described honestly the hotel and surrounding areas I had a poster who pretty much went postal on me.

I guess I'm lucky. But I've been there, though not to stay. I'd never recommend it. Sure the hotel may be ok, but the surrounding area is a hot mess and that's being nice. There are reasons why some places offer park & cruise rates. People need to think about all this stuff. Sometimes a "deal" is not a deal.

So true your comments are.

Since I work near there I have seen the deterioration of the area over the years.

For others to reference in the future, I wound up booking the Brookshire Suites in the Inner Harbor area. I was able to confirm, by phone, that they have a shuttle, which they can use to pick up hotel guests from the airport (for a small charge) and to drop off those hotel guests to the cruise port after their stay.
