Rotorua Maori Village Encounter - Celebrity

If anyone has done this tour can you tell me if it covers much of the geyser area?

We did it with a local tour operator called arrow tours.their highly recommended.

The Maori village is native town which the tour companies have to buy the tour from village elders.

So all the tours are the same.

It’s a fantastic tour,these people have been living on top of this volcano forever.their life revolves around the volcano.

They do a show and then a tour around the village and geysers.

They cook in the geysers,swim,bath and even heat their house.

A good experience.

Excellent full day tour from Ovation earlier this year. Recommend you look at NZ websites and book early as they are popular. The Sulphur fumes are something to behold.
