Depends on cruiseline. End on mar or apr. Best months of the season are jun and jul.

I have never seen an Alaskan cruise in March!

The typical cruise season is May to September, but you will occasionally see one at the end of April. I wouldn't go that early, personally.

We did an "Alaska Sampler" in 2015 and that was a four-night cruise that started in April and ended in May. We only stopped at Ketchikan, and the town was truly just "waking up" that day. Half the shops were closed, and those that were open were only at 50% inventory/staff/etc.

Cruises to Alaska are beginning earlier and ending later as the years go by. No doubt this has been to the the general all around warming we have been experiencing for the last three decades or better. I wouldn't be the least surprised to see a significant number of Cruises begin in latter April and end around mid October in the next few years. I would expect these to occur in and involve Southeast Alaska though and not Central Alaska.
