what is the “top tier event” mentioned in the c&a benefits for platinum and above? Just curious. We are sailing next on a 5 day/Brilliance Cruise.

It's the regular welcome back party for past guests, limited to Platinum level and above.

I am pretty sure that the last one we went to didn't have watered down drinks. They tasted like they were alcohol free to me.

I thought the event was only on 7 day and longer. I could be wrong. it won't be the first time.

Each ship does their own thing, and it can even change based on itinerary..

Ask the wait staff for a beer at these events. They will usually be glad to bring you a draft and that can’t be watered down!

"Top Tier" is everyone Platinum and above, and from past experience, that's about half of the passengers. Haven't gone to one of these events in years.

They held one on the recent Majesty 4 nighter we sailed on a few weeks ago. We did go along as SO likes Guinness and the wait staff brought it to him (we do remember to 'thank' them too).

They don’t water down the wine either, at least I hope they don’t. 🙂

Thanks all. I’m still gold level, but one of my cruises from 2001 which was sailed in my maiden name is not showing in my history. I’m trying to decide whether to push the issue so i become platinum level.

Might as well. If your C&A number didn't change, it should be in there somewhere. I would call C&A ahead of time to get it all sorted before you cruise though.

KPookey, I recently called C&A over two missing names of ships we sailed. I was told I needed to send proof that we had been on these cruises.

Hmm. Proof? They will probably tell me that too. I’ll have to dig around and see if I have anything. I may have kept the cards you get on board, lol. Thanks all.

Even a picture with the ship in the background is usually enough.

I keep all my cards from all cruise lines, they are a great reminder of past cruises.

well watered down i give the waiter a tip at this event and get more good drinks in 30 min, 3 or 4 they would just take care of you
