Freedom or Glory

We have decided to take the eastern itenirary in the fall 2020. This will be our first time to these ports. The sailings aren't listed yet, but hoping they continue with the 8 day to Key West, Freeport, Nassau, and Half Moon Cay.

I am trying to be prepared to book right when they come available because we want a grand scenic Oceanview.

We will be cruising with our then 6 year old son with special needs. The only difference I can see between the two ships is that Glory has waterworks which means the little kids slide. Which is a selling point for us.

I think I read Freedom is going into Drydock between now and then. If so, does anyone know if it is getting a waterworks upgrade?

Any other differences between the two ships that may help me decide?

We live in East Texas and drive to the port. Galveston is about an hour closer, but have sailed out of both ports.
