Carnival Freedom Steakhouse and Doors

A couple of questions for anyone who has been on the Freedom recently.

What are your thoughts on the steakhouse? Worth it?

Also are the doors metal construction inside that will allow the use of magnets on them?

never had a bad meal in any Steakhouse, always special food and service

Just off the Freedom, didn't use the steak house, not sure about the doors accomodating magnets, but the walls inside the cabins are definitely magnet friendly! I bought a packet of strong/sturdy magnets at my local Harbor Freight store and they came in very handy!!

The Freedoms Steak House is well worth the $35 PP. We plan on going to the steak house on any Carnival ship that we cruise on if they have one.

I agree wholeheartedly and feel the same way since my first steakhouse experience was on the Valor this past Thanksgiving day. I will not miss the steakhouse at least once every cruise. I already booked for my birthday cruise in October 2018.

We just got off the Freedom a couple weeks ago and did eat in the steakhouse. It did no disappoint it was great.

Thanks everyone, I put in a reservation.

Last year we cruise the Freedom. My steak was good, my wives had about 8oz of fat on it and they did nothing. With that said, the year before we were on the Breeze and both of our steaks were phenomenal. It couldve been that we got what was left since we dined at the steakhouse on the last night.

Been to the Steakhouse on the Freedom (2x), Dream and Breeze. All were superb. We go on the first night, free bottle of house wine or 50% any bottle of wine. Not a bad way to start the cruise and the MDR seems to be a little of a madhouse on the first night. The last 3 cruises the casino comped us a dinner with our choice of wine during the middle of the cruise. I wouldn't mind eating there every night, but I seem to forget to make reservations and of course we always make the elegant nights in the MDR.
