Hi

Has anyone sailed in 3004 and got any pictures of it inside or view of it from outside. Is it a noisy room at all? It's quite forward and I'm sure I read somewhere cabins can be noisy over the theatre and can also get anchor noise??

Cheers, Jo

We were in 3002 on the SKY in 2017 and the anchor was noisy but we always needed to get up about that time in order to be ready for shore excursions so we did not mind it. Noise from the theatre was minimal but you can hear performances and musical practices but not the lectures or movies. When the weather was rough (Bay of Biscay) the room was noisy and more rocky than midship. The room itself looks like all the other V cabins. We would book that room again.

The least movement in a ship is lower deck midships.

As you move fwd or aft and to higher decks the movement is always greater. Lower deck cabins fwd may be subject to anchor noise and upper deck fwd cabins may be subject to whistle noise, especially in restricted visibility.

We were in 3008 (it was a guarantee that didn't get upgraded :() on Sky for its March TA. Noise was noticeable during the many days we had rough seas - there was a VERY loud clanging every 10 minutes or so. Speaking with the folks in 3002 they had decided it was a chain banging due to the rolling of the ship. Until we hit those swells we didn't have any issues...however, we could hear the birds chirping from the public restroom directly below us (near the theatre) and could hear rehearsals from the theatre in the afternoon. Since we were usually not in the room during the shows, any sounds from them were not a problem.
