Zuiderdam in Bergen; Aerial View Photos

Recommended Posts

Today Zuiderdam called into Bergen, Norway. I took a series of photos as she arrived this morning, and then some dramatic views as she sailed underneath the Askøy suspension bridge on her way out of town this afternoon. The full set is now up on my hobby blog of ships in the city:

I hope these are of interest to some of you here :)

Bergen is such a lovely city - thanks for sharing the pictures - we were on the ship that day too - with our friends Shrimpboat123 and Skipper's mom!

That's so cool that you were on board! Did you manage to spot yourselves in the pictures?

And thanks everyone for the kind comments...I'm glad the photos are being enjoyed :)

If you had perhaps taken a picture of the Aft of the Ship, we might have been out on the aft corner balcony on deck 5. :)

Unfortunately the suspension bridge only has a walkway along one side...it would be a bit hair-raising to cross over and stand right on the 70 km/h carriageway to try to snap the ships from the other side ;p

I did catch a couple of 'aft' shots during her morning arrival, if they're of any use :)
