Cabin Selection

We've been on all the ships, from a B1 on up in terms of category. I can't remember a time when we've been bothered by noise from outside the cabin.

It's true that when working at the desk in our current cabin (which IS a suite) I can hear ice being rattled around as it's been put into the ice bucket ... can't say that the noise bothers me!

..........don't spend much time in the cabin anyway.

I've stayed in one inside cabin and also didn't spend much time in it, but that was because it was unappealing to sit in a small enclosed space, not because I like spending my day in public areas.

When I eventually got a balcony, it was quite enjoyable to spend time in the cabin and especially on the balcony. A balcony room or suite let's me relax in privacy. I'm willing to pay more for that pleasure.
