Rhapsody of the Seas time off the ship in Venice?

Cruising Rhapsody next month from Venice. Can we expect to get off the ship by 8:00-8:30? :confused: Hoping to make a noon flight to the UK from Marco Polo (VCE).

First guests should be getting off within 30 minutes of arrival.

We made an 11:30 flight with no problem.

Did self assist at 07.30am and were at Marco Polo airport by 08.30am

Thanks! We booked a private transfer service for 8:30 -- should I try to move that up to 8:00 or earlier for a noon flight to the UK? :confused:

Our flight was to the UK also.

I would leave the booking as it is think thats plenty of time.

We were on Rhapsody last year and our flight to UK was 12.15. We used RCCL transfers and were at the airport in plenty of time. Enough time to shop and have a coffee.

We return on 7/28 and booked a noon flight to Paris. We intend to do self-assist asap when we return with our taxi waiting at 8. I've read that the Marco Polo airport is a mess.

You have to pay but this is a little oasis at Marco Polo.

Highly recommended coffee snacks beers wines and even prosecco. Was not too crowded either.

We got off the ship and went direct to the airport we were there in plenty of time for a midday BA flight to the U.K.

Downside ? Yes.....very few current date English newspapers .... now there’s bad news isn’t it ?

We made an 11.30am flight 3 weeks ago to the UK with no issues at all. Taxi from rhapsody at 8am - could easily have left at 7.30 if we wanted. No self assist getting off at Venice .Very impressive airport but found it a bit confusing - checkin desk number was not announced until 2 hours before the flight was due to take off but went to an information point and they were able to tell me which desk it would be so we were first in the queue!
