Return flight- how early can you book your return flight?

Hi All- we are cruising to the Bahamas from Miami in November on Royal Caribbean. We just received notice from Delta that our return flight has changed- leaving us with an almost 4 hour layover in Atlanta and landing at 10:00 pm, and we still have hour/half drive to our house after we land...... My question is, If we could take an earlier flight, what is the earliest we could schedule to depart from Miami after we dock that Friday? Thanks in advance.:)

Because of the flight schedule change Delta will change your flights if seats are available. There will be no additional fees for the flight adjustments.

I agree that 11 ish would be a safe departure time. And while FLL is farther from the Port of Miami it could be a viable option with a departure around 11:30 or so.

Before you contact Delta, and a call would work better than their on line link, look at the Delta schedules and pick one or two to suggest to the agent. As long as seats are available you shouldn't have a problem.

Enjoy your cruise.
