Aperol Spritz

I first had it in Venice a few years ago. It’s “the” drink of Venice. Regent makes it as good as in Venice

Here in Switzerland it has been THE drink in summer for some time - at least 5 years. In 2015 we were on Oceania’s Riviera on a TA crossing Miami/Barcelona. NO Aperol on board.... The Head barman apologised to me and I pointed out that the ship was headed for Europe where everyone drinks Aperol! He thanked me and said he had ordered several cases...last November on the same ship in Euope he had all the Aperol I wanted! Only - we don’t drink it in November....

One of my favorite, so I made sure I had Aperol in the room. Good thing, because all of the bars ran out of it!

Campari has the same ingredients as Aperol ............ but is stronger :D

Ah Campari.... fond memories of my very first ski instructor in Cervinia who insisted on a mid lesson stop for Campari and White Wine. Parallel turns were easy after a few of those.

LOL!!! I always say that I ski much better after a liquid lunch. :)
