Tampa Hotels

What are some decent hotels nearer the Tampa port? Doesn't have to be right on top of it of course since we have most of the morning to get there. Somewhere that has breakfast and we don't have to worry about our car in the parking lot. :D

Embassy Suites is what we use when cruising out of Tampa.

Marriott Tampa Waterside!

Quality Inn. About ten minutes from the port. Has breakfast included

We've stayed at the Marriott Waterside and Hampton Inn in Ybor City. We enjoyed both. One issue with the Hampton was the shuttle - picking us up after the cruise they crammed 17 people into a 12 person van. Very uncomfortable very unsafe - people were sitting in laps and one on the floor.

Several hotels in the Rocky Point area offer cruise packages including airport and port shuttles; nice area with bay views and about a 10+ minute trip to the port. chase Suites, Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, etc.

Budget and dates would help the suggestions to be closer to your target. ;)
