Miracle without power

We were also on the ship when it lost power.

We were in the DR and loud vibration and lights went out.

Was an interesting occurrence and first time for us but they did get lights back rather quickly.

Saw Capt walking around the ship later asked him what happened and he also said just a glitch.

Would be interesting to find out what did happen but probably will not.

Sometimes the computer automation just goes a little wacky. I suspect that the automation was allowing a generator to come online without properly synchronizing with the online generators, which knocked all the generators offline from cross currents. Just today, my automation went a little nuts on me, and it took a couple of hours to get the main propulsion engine control back, fortunately we were at the dock, so it wasn't critical, but it was frustrating, as it was simply a software glitch. "Control/Alt/Del" and everything was back up and running (after we figured out which unit to reboot!)
