How late can I board? (Auckland)

The standard paperwork from Princess says boarding is 1 pm to 4 pm in Auckland. However, our ship does not sail til 10 pm.

How late can I check in?

I am looking for answers from someone experienced with Princess AND Auckland, please.

You should contact Princess on this issue. It may depend on what arrangements they have with the NZ authorities.

I guess whilst the ship may not sail until 10pm the cruise line more than likely doesn't want to pay for terminal staff for longer than they have too. Hence why the check in time is set for the standard 3 hour window. We have a similar issue with a cruise in Adelaide, ship arrives at 6am and departs at 10pm but check in is only between 1 and 4pm for passengers joining the cruise that day.

Sounds like check-in may close at 4pm, they may allow boarding to be later but I wouldn't count on it.
