The Upgrade Fairy Made A Forced Landing

Sailing on 12/11 on NADM . I booked this way back in April on KDAM as an MM guarantee at much more than what the prices are now.

When I booked it was under the Anniversary promo with free gratuities and $100 beverage card. It in order to take the price drop I would lose the promo perks.

Got cabin assigned last evening and was only given a Cat L which is currently $100 less than what I paid for the MM, plus now on the website a new booking is a free upgrade to an obstructed view.

My TA called HAL and mentioned I just became 5 Star and the price difference. Agent was told I could upgrade to an E but lose the promos. Declined the offer- called back again and spoke to someone different, mentioned again my Mariner status and the price difference.

Bottom line , new rep agreed to comp me to a Cat E and keep the promos.

I'm now a happy camper[emoji3]
