Rare Scrapnana Posted June 21, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted June 21, 2017 I will not be here for sail-in but I want to thank you Roy for the resize site. It is so much better (and easier) than the app that was $10.00! And it is free! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Happily@Sea Posted June 21, 2017 #10 Share Posted June 21, 2017 Unless we have a camera operator, this is going to be a very ugly sail-in. Raindrops obscuring the view. :(

Rare rafinmd Posted June 21, 2017 #13 Share Posted June 21, 2017 I'm a bit surprised at Noordam's path. Isn't she the one who normally docks with her stern to the camera. Could there be a new captain? Special maintenaince? Roy
Happily@Sea Posted June 21, 2017 #14 Share Posted June 21, 2017 Most of the raindrops have disappeared, but she is really early, almost an hour and a half upon entering the harbor. Had to mention raindrops - here they come again. :(

Special maintenaince? Roy Yes, she does, maybe a lifeboat drill [Capt Albert is on board], I wouldn't think that they were painting the SB in this weather. Maybe he will mention the opposite docking reason in his blog.
Rare rafinmd Posted June 21, 2017 #17 Share Posted June 21, 2017 I had forgotten that this was the ship Captain Albert was on. I think about the time he boarded (within the last 2 weeks) there was also a Captain's switch. Perhaps the new Captain will be more spontaneous in choosing a docking position. Could there be a new captain? Special maintenaince? Roy Capt. Pieter Bos took command 10 days ago, Roy.
