Glory vs magic

There is a few dollars difference in the cruise time we are looking at. I'm curious the bonuss of either ship. We would be looking at 2 balcony and 2 inside rooms... any advice? :D

I've been on both ships a few times each and if the itineraries were the same, I would choose to sail the newer ship, the Magic.

For me it would depend on the time of year and if our boys were coming. I do not think I would do Magic pre-Christmas again - there were 4600 people on the ship and man did we feel it. It does have more bells and whistles with the BBQ and sports square. Glory is closer to the 3000 passenger mark. And while the Conquest class are not my favorite, I would pick her in "high volume times" and give up the Magic's extras. But I would lean to Magic if our kids were traveling with us, just to have those extras.

We sailed on Liberty which is a sister ship to Glory during peak time and there was 3700 pax, and I believe more than 1000 kids. It was a zoo.

We just got off the Magic with more than 4700 last week. It felt surprisingly roomy compared to our Dream spring break cruise in 2016.

We have done both. Magic, without a doubt. Not only newer with more on board options, but better ones to boot. Ocean Plaza is fantastic for pre-dinner drinks at Alchemy Bar while enjoying a nosh from Taste Bar and listening to live music. The complete wrap-around deck is a fantastic feature. The decor is much more modern and less 80's Vegas. Glory was fine, but one of our least memorable cruises.
