I would check HotelsTonight too. It's last minute, you can reserve up to a week before, but sometimes there are deals. I've found dayroom rates to be just as much as a nightly rate, depends on the hotel. Also check Priceline or Hotwire and you might be able to score a better deal for one night.

Some hotels don't advertise day rooms. But if you call they will have them.

I have used dayuse.com several times and have found them to be reliable.

You can get anything a traveler might need near my home airport of LAX...we're hardly rural America. The Hyatt is very close to LAX and has a shuttle...it's where many flight crews stay.

I would be posting this on the West Coast Departures Board.

You can check for day use rooms at Hilton hotels by putting in the same date for arrival and departure. Not all the hotels will offer it but if any do you will easily see them on the list. They show up with a price and "day use rate" underneath it.

There is a company that you can rent rooms for the day. Dayuse.com I've used them for a flight delay in Atlanta once and following my cruise in Miami. Worked out great.
