Anthem of the Seas: Adventure Ocean Xbox Fortnite?

We are going on the 23 August 2018 Anthem cruise out of Cape Liberty, NJ.

My 10 year old son loves his Xbox and the outdoors all the same.

He asked me a few days ago if the Xbox consoles in Adventure Ocean have Fortnite?

He loves the game and would love to be able to play with other kids on the cruise.

The consoles might be locked down, but if you have it on disc, might as well bring it. However, I would doubt that there is any internet for games, so wouldn't be able to play a massive game, just with other players on the same console.

I could have sworn I read that the XBOXs have network play.

I would guess network play is set up between the consoles on the ship, but not over the internet. Maybe someone can confirm?

Like most things discussed here, unless somebody says "yes" or "no", come prepared, but don't have your heart set on it.

Even with the (relatively) faster O3B satellite connections onboard Anthem, the ping is still well into the 200s, which is absolutely horrible for online gaming. Assuming the server doesn't boot you off, it would make the game pretty much unplayable.

The ping doesn't support Overwatch, and if it can't support Overwatch, I don't think it would support Fortnite.

Tell them to turn off the video games for the week. :) My 13yo son just asked if he could take his Xbox on our Spring 2019 cruise. Ummm....NO!!!!
