I've been using a Panasonic Lumix ZS40 point and shoot camera for video and stills and just upgraded to Panasonic Lumix ZS70 with 4K that I am looking forward to travelling with... haven't made any videos yet to see difference. Use a GoPro for water vacations like South Seas or Caribbean. Been using Cyberlink PowerDirector for a few years now for making movies and have been pretty happy with it. Would be interested in finding out what other people use for producing their movies.

Your videos with the Lumix are great. I have used Lumix in the past but take very little video. Your videos have hit home and on our upcoming trips I will push myself f to take more video.

Thank you for your compliments. I used to do videos with pix only then started adding some videos and I like the effect. Had to buy more batteries for my camera with shooting more videos. Looking forward to doing 4K on next cruise. LUMIX does a good job outside...inside not as good. Give it a try!
