Can you walk between Freedom and Allure Terminals in Port Everglades?

Friends are on Allure while we're getting onto Freedom. We wanted to drop off our bags at Freedom then walk over to Allure, looks to be about 15 minutes. But my question is are there sidewalks, and is this as feasible in reality as it looks on google maps. Then we'd head over to another bar to hang out

Thanks in advance!

I don't believe it is allowed for people to be walking between terminals.

From their website.....

Before you begin your first-class cruise vacation from Port Everglades, cruise guests are asked to follow these rules and regulations while on Port property:

  • Cruise guests and visitors age 18 and older must provide a government-issued photo ID (such as a current driver's license or passport) at any of the Port's Security Checkpoints, along with your cruise documents.
  • For security purposes, cruise guests may be subject to periodic vehicle screening upon arrival at any Security Checkpoints.
  • Cruise guests have access to the cruise area only. Roaming through the Port is prohibited.
  • Cruise guests arriving by personal car will receive a placard to be placed on the rearview mirror or on the driver's side dashboard - unobstructed and visible for inspection.
  • Do not leave vehicles unattended in "No Parking" zones, fire lanes or passenger drop-off areas.
  • While on Port Everglades property, all persons are subject to local, state and federal regulations.
Report any suspicious activity to the Broward Sheriff's Office at Port Everglades 954-765-4511.
  • Relax and enjoy your vacation!

Not sure if you have ever been to port Everglades but it is not like Port Canaveral that is more accessible and has restaurants near by. Port Everglades has much more security and the roads have many roadblocks and detours to control traffic. If the two ships are docked close then maybe but if you have to go across port then that might be difficult.

If Freedom is still at Pier 29 then no. You can't even walk to the parking lot, you have to take a shuttle. But it might be possible to drop your stuff then take he shuttle to the Midpoint Parking Garage and walk from there to Allure. But you won't find anything at the pier except a lot of people trying to get on Allure. Where are you planning on finding a bar? You'll need to drive off port for that. If your friends are ending their cruise, just meet them at a bar somewhere prior to going to the cruise. They'll be off earlier than you'll be able to check in.
