This is my first Carnival Premier cruise. I was happy to get the last inside spa stateroom. When you went on your first, or how every many, was it what you expected and would you do it again. I thought the deal was good, and 500 casino cash couldn't really turn it down. Thanks for any tips!

We just returned from our first Premier cruise, Breeze sailing 9/9 and have mixed feelings. We did enjoy ourselves and will most likely do another at some point. They do keep you busy in the casino for quite a few drawings, if your name is drawn you have to be present to win and be quick most times they gave you 60 sec to come forward and claim your prize. There were over 380 Premier guests on our sailing and with all of the drawings my husband's name was drawn once for $100 casino cash, mine never got drawn.

We met quite a few people that have done their fair share of Premier sailings and seemed disappointed in this one, no offers for a bottle of wine or dinners in the steakhouse or italian restaurants also no gift on the last night which they normally always do.

We did get the drinks on us card good in the casino and the first night or so it was hard to get a drink with so many getting free ones they kept the bartenders busy. We finally found a couple of bartenders that would remember us and come around more often but we also tip $1/drink each time so that always helps. The casino was way to smoke filled this cruise they really need to do something about the ventilation or make it non smoking. If you can't smoke anywhere else indoors then the casino should also be non smoking but that will never happen. The slots also seemed tighter this cruise.

I have the schedule of drawings and will try to post that tomorrow.

Sorry I forgot to add we had $500 and $200 casino cash which was given in either table or slot play and on the slot play you don't earn points on that money. It would have been nice to get actual cash because we would have spent it in the casino anyway and earned points.

Not sure which cruise line your referring to? Carnival is Carnival , not Carnival Premier Cruise line.

A Carnival Premiere cruise is a specific cruise offered to casino players. It has perks and cruise cash. It is for specific dates and cruise ships on Carnival.

The OP is asking about the premier cruises that just came out, I assume. We just got our post cards yesterday...1000 cash for mom and 500 for me if we choose one. That is very tempting :)

Since they gave it to you in slot play, could you play it over various days on different machines? I would hate to play it all at once. In previous cruises we have always received cash from the casino cage for these offers.

You could get it in table or slot play and in hindsight I should have chosen table play. I think you have the choice once you put your card in the machine to add cash or use your casino money I can't remember for sure. Whatever you win off that money is yours to use and earn points on or cash out.

Yes you can. There will be a separate box in your machine's ID window that tells you the amount of "casino cash" you have left. When you move to another machine, it will ask if you want to use your "casino cash" or actual funds first.

It was probably a year or so ago that I 1st experienced receiving casino cash on a premier cruise. I've been on several other premiers since then and received cash. Has Carnival reverted to using casino cash again? It wasn't well received the 1st time.

Throughout the week we alsoreceived: blue plastic drink cups, bottle of champagne, cookies & a box of chocolates. The largest/best gift is supposed to bedelivered on the last night be we did not get anything! We also had quite a few people that have donemany Premier sailings ask if we got a gift the last night as they did noteither. They were also disappointed inthis Premier sailing saying that usually the hosts offered free dinners at thesteakhouse and/or Italian Restaurant, Spa services, etc. and this time nothingwas offered. This was our first Premierand we were not too impressed. We willprobably try another to see if this one was just an off one, it did have over380 Premier guests so not sure if that was the problem.
