Which would you pick?

Nachi Cocom? Mr. Sanchos? Iberostar? Occidental? Somewhere else? What would be your choice and why?

Who is travelling and what do you want? Water toys? Lively atmosphere? Quiet and relaxing?

Traveling - My husband and me - 60/55 yo. Looking for a fun, relaxing (but not totally secluded) day of fun at the beach with some good food and interesting drinks.

Sanchos is probably what you want. AI (food/drinks) for about $50 per person; multiple pools, lots of optional add-on if you want (water toys, massage, pedicure, etc.) plus some shopping. Food, drinks and service are good.

A quieter (no music or water toys) and more relaxing option is Nachi - AI (food/drink) for about $55 each.

Taxi to either will be about $17 each way and the fare covers up to 4 passengers, so pair up with others from your roll call to save $$

Jumping onto this thread, I think I have read that both Nachi Cocom and Mr Sarcho's both charge for snorkel equipment and read conflicting amounts. Can anyone that has been there recently confirm this and how much.

Just adding this also, which one do you think has better snorkeling from shore, not a boat ride.

it would not be nachi coccom.the beach is beautiful .clear waters ,but no rocks or coral for the fish.try chankanab park.lots of fish .they have a manmade beach.check out their web site.

Money Bar offers good snorkeling from the shore, no admission fee, good facilities, great service, food & drinks, and is only a $11 cab ride from the piers. No beach - you enter the water via steps - but lots of fish to see! :cool:

We went there and went with Tigers Adventures on his boat. Great snorkeling and fun at El Ceilo. He made Margaritta's, had Corona, bottled water, soda, and served fresh fruit, chips and home made guacamole.

It was a fun day!! I booked him ahead of time thru his paypal Fb page. We stayed at the patio after the tour.

Mr. Sanchos without a doubt. Been there three times and going back in a couple weeks. The people are friendly, the food is good, and the drinks are plentiful
