Spirit Suite 226

Yojimbo, my wife and I were assigned Cabin 226 ( I refuse to call it a suite....if it's a room on a ship where you sleep then its a CABIN....if it's a hotel on land then it could well be called a suite!!!)
Like you I was concerned that as it was part of a double cabin, we would be missing out on something (like privacy!). However, have no fears...while there is a obviously a partition put up between the adjoining cabin, it is not some temporary affair, and unless you knew beforehand, you'd never guess that it was anything but a normal cabin. I was also concerned about the noise aspect... my noise, not my neighbors , but it wasn't a problem at all( well, they never complained!) My wife, who has a very sensitive nose (acute sense of smell) reckoned she could sometimes smell cigarette smoke coming from next door (they were heavy smokers our neighbors) but I certainly couldnt. You'll just love Cabin 226.....and if you have even half the fun that we did on our cruise, well you'll still have a grrreat time...

Seabourn Spirit, Pride or Legend- Who cares as long as it's sooner rather than later..

We had one of these cabins on The Pride and while the cabin itself was fine, we did hear the phone ringing next door as if it were in our own cabin. There was a single man in there, but he had friends on board and they kept calling back and forth. We did smell his cigarette smoke as well and that was annoying. So, if you have a choice, I would select another cabin. The location was great though, right at mid-ships.
