Carnival Check in time

Recommended Posts

Didn't do the online check in until late and only boarding time left was right before departure. Would like to board earlier. Is Carnival in Sydney strictly enforcing the check in allocations or should we be able to slip through if we get there earlier?

I think your chances of an earlier boarding will be good. We boarded last week, with 4 in our party of 10 having a boarding time 2 hrs after the rest of us. We did not have an issue, with all of us boarding just after 1pm. It was reasonably busy at that time. Boarding was quick and easy. Your main checked luggage is collected immediately at the kerb.

When I did a carnival cruise in late January this year, we arrived early and were refused boarding until our allocated time, we left and had coffee and returned approx 10minutes prior to our boarding time, again, they would not let us through until they called that time slot.

When we got to check in it was very quite with only about 10 people waiting , compared to hundreds of people standing around waiting outside.
