HELP me decide? Independence of the Seas

Hi ALL,

Last minute booking, and trying to decide between cabins on Independence of the Seas.

Option: Corner Aft 8410 vs Corner Aft 7408?

We love the big balcony space.

Prefer privacy above and below.

Agent mentioned 7408 is 20% obstructed? (i didnt notice obstruction on any videos)

Which cabin will give us best views, and most privacy? We spend most of our time relaxing and enjoying the balcony morning, day and evening.:)

Im pretty sure, and someone can correct me if I am wrong here, that 7408 is a good choice, and has the big round opening to the side of the ship as well.

On the thread below.. post 558 on page 28, shows the balcony on Freedom, which should be the same.

All aft facing staterooms on Indy are obstructed to some extent. However, most say that the higher you go, the less obstruction you notice.

8410 has a LOT less obstruction!

The higher the deck, the less superstructure you have to look past. It's not really "obstructed", but you aren't "overlooking" the wake...the view is in the distance.
