Water questions for Norwegian Jewel

Wondering if anyone can help. Our daughter concerned by lack of bottled water in drinks packages and I was wondering whether to buy a bottled water package separately.

How have people found the drinking water on the Jewel?

If I did buy the water package are we free to take those bottles on and off the ship when in port?

You can purchase bottled water and you can take it off the ship, but can't bring liquids back on.

I drink the water at the buffet and don't have any issues with the taste, swelling or anything else.

I do not buy water at all. The Jewel's is perfectly fine to drink. I get water out of the tap in my bathroom and from any of the bars all the time.
