Non Smoking Ships

All Celebrity ships are non smoking inside with no smoking on the balconies.

In fact, there are very few places to smoke outside ... even e-cigs.

Good for some ... not so good for others

Outside places are plenty. One side of Sunset bar, one corner near the pool, several places on outside Promenade.

I think it’s a good idea of nonsmoking inside and still enough spaces outside.

Keeps everybody happy.

Silhouette, Summit. On Promenade and near the pool.

Not sure about cigar.

Cigar smoking is permitted on one side of the Sunset Bar on all M and S class ships . It’s the best cigar- friendly area that we’ve found on any cruise line we’ve sailed on. Some shade can usually be found, the chairs are comfortable , the views are great and the bar is right there.

This is correct for the S ships, port side , not so much anymore for the M ships. It varies by ship on the M class. Last one I was on, Infinity, it was by the mast bar. They’ve pretty much done away with smoking area at the Sunset bar on M ships due to proximity to the buffet.

The smoking area next to the pool isn’t really ‘inside’, it’s on the portside under the overhead protection and the rest is pretty open. Sounds nitpicky (because it is!) but Celebrity touts no inside smoking so lets go along with it.

Thanks for the update , ORV. We haven’t been on M class in a few years.

A bit off topic here, but have you found good cigar areas on other cruise lines ? Princess’ indoor cigar lounges are hit and miss as per size and ventilation. Carnival Freedom’s outdoor area was along the side of the ship fully exposed to wind. *shrug*
