Venice Disembark to Airport Timing

If the ship docks ar say 8am. How much time can u expect to take to get into transport to airport. My flight is at 2:30, i wanted a later flight but wasnt available. Im willing to take a private water shuttle to airport, is this doable? Thanks in advance:)

You will have plenty of time, no matter what transport method you chose. Land taxi is the fastest..I think the time is about 30 minutes. Land bus is a little slower. Water taxi is about an hour, maybe 75 minutes, and the most expensive. Water bus (allilaguna) is close to 2 hours.

Marco Polo is a very small airport.

They don’t have different counters assigned for different airlines.

Could be that British Airways just finished checking everyone in for flight XYZ, now Delta takes over the same counter to check in people for flight ABC.

Airport security won’t let you into the terminal to check in until your flight is ready to be checked in. This is about 2 1/2 to 3 hours before scheduled departure.

I would take CruiserBruce's advice and visit the Italy ports of call board where a lot of information already exists and there are many experts who can assist you.

Thanks everyone. I should have looked longer before posting uestion but i appreciate the up to date info! I am not as nervous now with my depart time. I read some people depart at 11 and they were told plenty of time...that would b a yikes moment gor me.:cool:
