2017 Trip Reports

Hopefully lots of you will be returning soon, wanting to share information about your cruise experience, excursions, activities, vendors, land travel, etc.

A report can be as short or as long as you care to make it. It can be one paragraph outlining each port you visited and your activity at each one. Or it can be a 20 pg report with photos of your cabin, public areas, meals, dailys, activities of each port, and every sight along the way. Or it can be something in between! Whatever you have time for.

Please create your own thread to post your trip report, then paste a link to THIS thread. It would be helpful if the first line included the SHIP, ITINERARY, DATE, EXCURSIONS, and who travelled ( family with children, a multigenerational trip, active 30 somethings, etc).

Just returned from Coral Princess June 17-24 2017.

Great cruise! Capt was personal, entertaining and everywhere on the ship. The crew was great in all venues. The bed was horrible, like a soft well used hammock so I doubt claims of new bedding. We had a balcony and it was great for quiet sea viewing at all hours of the day/night.

Best excursions were Major Marine in Seward and Talkeetna Air taxi, DIY before the cruise and Juneau rent a car for the day in Juneau.

Loved the Chefs Dinner on board, signed up as soon as we boarded.

Getting on the Coral at the end of the week but wondering, do they have egg crate/foam toppers available for the beds if requested from the room steward? I was so hoping for better beds than we've had on other Princess ships but hoping for the best! :)

G.ad you had a great cruise but sorry to hear about the bed. I was thinking about purchasing a new one from Princess. Thought a week of sleeping on it would help me decide.
