Just one thing to add, since a paragraph seems to be missing. We saw a lot of wildlife as well. Humpbacks, orcas, seals, sea lions, dolphins and eagles. We saw 3 humpbacks on the Tracy Arm excursion alone, staying a good distance from them. A school of about 200 dolphin chased the ship one day.

Great review. Just a couple questions:

1: Where did you eat in Carcross that you enjoyed so much? We are planning to drive there (DIY), and will have lunch there, but are not sure where we will eat.

2: How many kids were on board?

3: Do you know the min bet (and odds) for craps?

Again, thanks for the great review. We're doing the same trip in 2 (!!!) days :)

We stopped at Caribou Crossing Trading Post as part of our tour and that’s where we had a bbq chicken lunch with all you can eat homemade doughnuts.

2: How many kids were on board?

Because it was July and kids were on school vacation, there were many on board.

3: Do you know the min bet (and odds) for craps?

Sorry, that one I can’t answer as I on,y play slots.

Again, thanks for the great review. We're doing the same trip in 2 (!!!) days :)

I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Very nice report.

My wife and I did this cruise two years ago and, other than the food, loved it. Also did the Tracy Arm excursion from the ship. It was memorable, and we got back to Juneau in time to go whale watching, too. In Skagway, consider renting a car for the scenic drive. Anyway, this cruise really made us love Alaska. We thought the viewing areas were excellent, too. By the way, we had a balcony, a wonderful thing to have on Glacier Bay day and, in my opinion, better than a balcony in the Caribbean because on this cruise, the scenery is almost non-stop.
