Boarding Meraviglia on Friday 29th out of Barcelona

Arrived in Barcelona today looking forward to getting on board Friday 20th (sorry about incorrect date in title)Travelling in Fantastica class 5 adults over three Balcony rooms. If anyone wants to know anything please let me know and I’ll try my best to find out. We are midship deck 11.

Hi Basketball Dad, I went and asked about the ships tours today for you. They are on the Seaday (Thursdays) and they cost 50 Euro, I’m assuming you will need to add a service charge to this. By the way five of us all travelling and we think the food in the dining room has been fine, and it’s been arriving hot.

Which terminal/dock did you leave from? We are on Orchestra in January 2018. Thank you.

We left from Barcelona. The Orchestra gave us an escort out of Genoa last night on its way to dry dock.

I bought a pair of earrings yesterday from Swarovski as well as some little things from the onboard shop, Ijyst checked both receipts and there was no VAT mentioned on either.

There's no VAT charged onboard, though there has been mention on the forum before of having to pay Spanish taxes onboard when in Spanish ports. I've personally never experienced this.

Thanks Bea, we are having a great time, travelling with four other people and we all think the food in th3 dining room has been good, been a few very minor hiccups but all in all we have loved it. I’ll do a full review when I ge5 a chance.
