If you never step foot in the CL, I agree with you. However, if you go in there for a snack, appetizers, a drink, cappuccino (you get the idea), or if (s)he escorts you off the ship on a tender port day, or on disembarkation day, (s)he deserves a tip.

I also agree. I always give the Concierges a tip.

Thanks Sherri for the updated list of Concierges. Is there a list of Diamond Concierges? We will be sailing on the Grandeur on October 28, 2017. Would like to know the name of our Diamond Concierge?

Today is the last day for Gisleni Arajoe as concierge on the Freedom as she will be getting married next month. New concierge will be YingJin.

Can you please tell me how much we should tip the concierge?

I understand your question, I struggle with this also --- Is it $10, $20? As you stated, you don't want to insult the person. I probably overtip b/c of this.... I know this is a VERY subjective matter. And can get MANY different responses.... I wish there was a more simple answer! Like the 20% when dining (yes, I know they don't do this much outside the US - but that is where I am from).

We tip when they do something , we had a great guy on Brilliance last year, had issues. With DVD player in the suite , he came to suite to make sure it was working, would check everyday with everyone to make sure everything was ok, also escorted us off at port, whole staff was great we tipped with every drink and gave him a hundred , also helped with other issues should have tipped more for 12 day cruise.

I see that the Diamond lounge is not available on Asian sailing. What are the arrangements for members on those sailings?

Independence - Jacque Yabut is back in the Diamond Lounge as of 10/14 will remain until Late January when she will move to Symphony as the Diamond Concierge (Confirmed).

Serenade - Wilfredo Salaya is currently in the Diamond Club - Dates unknown. I cruised this week, and he doesn't know how long he will be there.

Mario has extended his contract until Mid April after the crossing. .

Not sure who took Willie's place on EN, however I will be there next weekend and will update.

From a friend on Freedom for the Trans-Atlantic, I found out that Junior Allen is the DL Concierge. I asked her to find out who is in the CL.

Big oops! It’s the Grandeur on 2/01/18 (not 08) although I would like to be 10 years younger.
