Beer prices

On the Riviera Dec2 with the house package but love my beer. Does anybody know current prices?. Deciding if I should upgrade or not.

Have done several searches with no luck.

Well with the basic package you only get beer & wine with lunch & dinner

We were on the Riviera in June and a Budweiser was $7.50 and a Guinness was $9.50. You need to add 18% gratuity to the prices so the real cost is $8.85 and $11.21 respectively. The beer prices jumped substantially from the previous years. You are allowed to to bring your own on board for consumption in your cabin.

I agree with both LHT28 and Terrier1, but the most salient point is that the included package includes beer only during meals., and those meals must be taken either in a restaurant or in the cabin as room service.

That certainly would not work for me!

I know you can pay a 25% corkage for a bottle of wine you bring onboard but what if you want a beer with dinner and want to pick up some local beers-thinking Hong Kong to Bangkok cruise when there should be interesting local beers to try?

Usually beers/spirits that you bring aboard are for in cabin use only

I would ask the Maitre'd if you could bring the special beer to dinner

Maybe they will charge you a portion of the $25 corkage fee ;)

On the point of beer, does anyone know if they have any beer on draft on Riviera or is it all bottles and cans??

Not 100% sure but I think the answer is no. My husband drinks draft and all the beer he got was in a bottle for Guinness and Bud. I believe he asked if they had anything on draft and the answer was no.
