Verandah Suite Category A Does it hold 2 adults and 2 children ages 10 and 12?

My husband and I, my daughter and her husband and two children want to go on this cruise in July 2019 and are wondering which categories of staterooms would be best for our family.

If you are comfortable with the 2 kids sleeping alone next door to the parents I would book cabins on deck 3 or 4. That would be the most economical and give you the most space.

When you get back, I would love to read a review of this cruise with children. I would like to take mine when they are a little older and can participate in the Stewards of Nature program.

I know a couple who have more than once been in a cabin on Deck 4 with their 20-something daughter. For them it worked out fine. Of course, the daughter is a bit of a party animal, so spent more time out with friends than with her folks. She especially liked the dive masters.

Another option would be to book 7004 & 7006.

Side by side and I believe they both accommodate 3 people

David the Wonderer, that would be us! It was cozy in the cabin. We were on deck 4 and deck 8 with her. Deck 8 cabin is a little bigger but the sleeping arrangements are the same. The sofa bed and roll away actually only sleeps one person. I think Our Wendy found the sofa bed more comfortable and she is 5 feet 8 inches. Actually, she was 30 something then. She LOVED the cruise and the crew took great care of her. She actually came back several times with us! Fortunately she is now happily married.

Do they even allow 4 in a cabin?

I agree--get two cabins on 3 or 4--those deck 8 cabins aren't a whole lot bigger!
