Having lunch at Chartreuse on Explorer

I read that Chartreuse on Explorer is open for lunch on alternate port days and all sea days. Are reservations required? Can reservations be made?

What is the lunch cuisine like>

Thanks.

It alternates with Prime 7 on port days, and both are open on sea days. Compass Rose is usually not open for lunch.

No reservations needed or taken. You turn up and ask for a table. I never had a problem getting seated, though sometimes it was a shared table.

Towel-animal posted a typical menu. The items on the top of the first page change day to day; the rest of the menu is pretty much the same each day.

We had many lunches in both Chartreuse and Prime 7 and really enjoyed both. Surprisingly it was never difficult to walk in and get a table as La Veranda and the Pool Grill were much more popular venues for lunch. Chartreuse was our favorite, although we loved the desert sampler at Prime 7!

Ditto as to above critique(s) of Chartreuse and Prime 7 for lunch. Both great. If a table for two is what you desire, simply show up a few minutes before opening. A genuinely-friendly Manager will meet, and seat you immediately upon opening. If that does not make any difference, show up later and be seated with others. Either way, you will be seated and enjoy a wonderful lunch. Our favorite, although it is a coin flip, is Chartreuse.

GOARMY!
