While in Bermuda

One of the things we have done there is the Crystal Caves.

We have also done tours to Gibbs Hill Lighthouse, Fort St Catherine and Blue Hole Park (also known as Tom Moore's Jungle) just to name a few things.

One time we did a boat excursion at night going out over a wreck that was all lit up.

Either Tuesday or Wednesday evening ( forget which night) the town as a festival of food and vendors.

Most ships are not docked in the main town of Hamilton which is a fun place to visit, ferry is a great way to visit Hamilton and St George , only small ships like Hal’s can dock in Hamilton , really like doing Hal for Bermuda.

The 'Moon' travel guidebooks have a great handbook on Bermuda. It's written by Rosemary Jones -- who is a native Bermudian. So, there's a lot more there, than just a map to the usual tourist traps. Normally, I don't run out and buy guidebooks for every cruise destination that I'm going to. But we had three days on the Island -- and I wanted to see as many things as possible. BTW -- the Bermuda Moon Handbook was hard to find, in brick-n-mortar stores. Might be easier to order it online. Bermuda is a beautiful island, with lots to do -- and, great public transportation. The bus & ferry pass is a good investment!

Agree with all that has been said already and will add that there is no ship based excursion necessary in Bermuda if you are there 2-3 days as with most itineraries. Everything you could want to do and see is easiest done on your own with the bus and ferry system passes. Bermuda is very safe and very easy to navigate on your own. IMO spending money through the ship for an excursion is a waste of both money and time.

Absolutely agree...another vote for the bus and ferry passes. We stopped at several beaches and then got back on the bus. Visited downtown Hamilton then took the ferry back to the cruise port. It was fun to see school children in full uniforms using the local buses. It was easy and safe to get around Bermuda.:)
