Patriots vs NYC football game ny eve

never been cruising during football season. Is there a chance the patriots vs jets will be aired on New Year's Eve? If so, where will the game be on the ship. Any info welcomed.

What ship? On a few of my cruises (Epic, Breakaway) they showed Monday/Thursday night games in the atrium. People were looking at us like idiots for singing the Eagles fight song but we didn't care!

There is always a chance. It will depend on the satellite signal, what channels you get, etc.

We're on the breakaway departing dec 29th.

You don't need to watch the game when everyone (including the players) knows which team will win.

They showed the Patriots/Seahawks game on a Sunday night on the Epic last year. One of the few games the Pats lost. We were all in the bar near O'Sheehans in our team jerseys anyway. I don't think they had any of the daytime games but I was in the spa.

Doubtful the game will be on but you will probably not know until the time it starts and they are showing a game of cricket :)

If you are departing from New York you will be able to watch the game on your cell phone if you have Verizon if it is a 1pm game before sail away.

It's more that the Jets will lose. The Jets always lose....unless they are playing the Browns.:p

We are on Breakaway now and they had the NFL games on in the bars and the in room tv's.

Sometimes the Cruise Director and staff welcome you aboard just as you board the ship. It can't hurt to oversell (there are a lot of Jets - Pats fans on board) it to them as an afternoon activity.

They will most likely have one game on at 1pm. It very well could be the giants game on instead. They do not have Fox or CBS. They have a sports channel that mostly plays soccer. When we were on in November they played one game for each time slot.

I was sailing away on the Breakaway on 10/15 as the Pats were playing the Jets at the Meadowlands. That was as close as we got to seeing the game! You'd think it would be on, but whatever game is on the network satellite broadcast is what ya get.

We sail on Friday and the game is on Sunday....so wont be able to watch on my cell.

Thank you all for your input, My husband and I are avid Pats fans as we live 20 minutes outside the stadium. Hoping to see the game. Will check out O'Sheehans as suggested. Or maybe hang ot in Port C to see if we can watch the game at some bar. Merry Christmas to all.
