May or September?

I am trying to plan a trip on NCL Pride for my anniversary. We were married in September and I would like to go during our actual anniversary, but I read there is more of a chance of rain and that the waves tend to get bigger in September. Our other option would be May, but would it make a huge difference? Is there a month you’d prefer over the other?

So there’s not really an advantage to one month over the next?

CruiserBruce, you said September is hotter and more humid... is May warm enough to be in the water, just not as humid yet?

Every day of the year is swim weather in Hawaii. The temps range from mid 70s to about 90 every month of the year.

There is no month of the year in Hawaii when the weather is "bad" for tourists. Rain can happen every month, a little more in Dec-Mar. But rain is very rarely a problem...it is warm, and usually short lived.

So, no, I wouldn't say there is an advantage May vs September.
