Can OBC be used to cover the auto-tipping?

On your invoice from O it will note if the OBC is refundable (i.e. came from cash out of your TA's pocket) then yes, it can be used for anything including tips. If you have a mix of refundable and not, the Purser will first debit against the nonrefundable. If at the end of the cruise if you have refundable OBC left you can collect it as cash.

Whether refundable or not you may use it to pay for gratuities..
