Viking Homelands Stockholm to Bergen

Hello,

I am trying to finalize my plans. I have seen the dailys from the cruise that goes the other way but not this direction. I am trying to determine what time we can get off the ship when it arrives in Bergen. I am hoping to do Norway in a Nutshell - there is a 10:00AM departure but we would need to be at the train station by 9:00AM. Any past experiences would be helpful.

We are doing Homelands, Stockholm to Bergen, in May. The ship arrives in Bergen a day before disembarkation, so you can get off the next morning pretty much any time you want, and must be off by 10. We are taking the Viking post cruise train trip to Oslo, and I believe that leaves about 7:30, so I think lots of people will be getting off early.

Thanks Santa Fe but we want to do it the first day that the ship arrives. We would then return to the ship for the night.

If we did it the second day, we would have to disembark and then check into hotel and then go to the railway station.

Sorry, I misunderstood. According to our calendar, the ship arrives at 7 am. Viking has its first tour at 8 am, so you should have plenty of time do get to station by 9.
