Bottled water - Freedom of the Seas

Recommended Posts

Technically prohibited, but usually allowed.

Lol Bob I was just thinking - How many times over the years do you think you have answered the question "Can I bring a case of water onboard?"

Over/under 85

We used to take bottles of water on board. We were never challenged. We also bought bottled water at ports to take back on the ship and had no problems there.

These days I would consider paying for the package where you get a fixed number of bottles delivered to your cabin on the first day. This is just for convenience, happy to pay the premium.

If you are in a suite, you get free bottled water in the suite lounge. Plus, recently they changed Diamond perks to include bottled water during happy hour. Finally, I always request water as my welcome gift in the cabin. Because of these reasons, I haven't needed to pay for bottled water or take it on board the ship.

This is a late follow up post but they would not let us take our case of water on board. We "donated" it to the very hot guys working in the bus unloading area.

This has happened to us at Port Canaveral, which is why we put the water in a rolling carry-on suitecase now.
