MSC Caribbean Port Fees Increase?

We just made our final payment for a Feb 2018 cruise on Seaside and I'm wondering if anyone else who has made a final payment for Seaside was told that their port fees had increased? We booked in January 2016 for the cruise and at the time our taxes and fees were $154.59USD per person. When making our final payment we were informed that the port charges had apparently increased by $7.95USD per person. Is this normal?

FYI... I just dummy booked the Seaside for a March 2018 cruise and fees and taxes came in at $125/pp
Just did a dummy booking for the four sailings in Feb on the Seaside. Because of port variances, they were all different, but all cheaper than what you had originally paid.

2/3/18 108.00 2/17 122.00 2/24 125.00 2/10 did not come up, must be sold out for Valentines day.

We booked our Feb 2018 Seaside the first week cruises aboard the ship were available. Made final payment and paid no increase.

Edit: Just checked and there's no extra charges showing on our account. Although I don't think they can easily talk round charging me more since they emailed me a paid in full voucher.
