My understanding is that the fine print says one per cruise, but I haven't actually purchased one, so I could be wrong. I'd love to get some free play, but since you can't combine any of the Mlife tier benefits with C&A benefits, I bet that is the case here also.

Arrrrgh! I wish I never opened this post! I just spent 2 hours downloading and standing in the kitchen playing while my iPad was charging. I foresee many many hours on this thing.

Do you have to buy chips to play with real money???

Just to further the other response you got, when you first start playing, you will run out of chips very quickly and it can get frustrating. If you keep playing for a period of time (meaning, every day or a few times each day) eventually you will build properties on your Strip and each of those properties will make available new chips to play with. They will periodically 'repopulate' the free chips - some very quickly (maybe 10-15 minutes) and some after a longer period of time. You can also check the 'daily deals' link at the bottom, and every day (for the most part - occasionally they miss a day) you will find a link you can click for additional chips. Finally, you will periodically get emails that include extra chips. I started playing about two months before my last Vegas trip (once or twice a day) and in that period of time I earned enough to get several free buffets, all without buying chips once.

So I decided to test the system. I purchased the bottle of wine with the purchase of a specialty dining option. I'm sailing in 2 weeks on the Allure and we have already booked Chops and the CP150. Here's the confirmation email I got:

Redemption Instructions

Step 2: Once you've selected your cruise, call 855-284-7463 and mention your myVEGAS Confirmation, full name, RCL promo code "myVEGASWINE", desired ship and sail date to the agent. Step 3: Get ready for the cruise experience of a lifetime!

Reward Terms and Conditions
Reward is applicable at Specialty Dining outlets only and is subject to verification. Reward is not transferable and cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion. Complimentary bottle of wine not to exceed $45 in value. Must be 21 years of age or older to redeem. I'm going to call them tomorrow and report back!

If you are just beginning to play myvegas one of the best things to do is have lots and lots of friends that play the game. There are fb pages that give you lots of information on the rules and tips to get the most out of the game. Also they have threads of fellow players that need new friends so they can have more neighbors to collect chips from. When I accept new friends for myvegas playing I make sure they play the game, have a legit sounding name (nothing with myvegas in name), and have a profile pic.

New info I learned: Only 1 reward per cruise can be used. Also the OBC reward is not combinable with any other offer or promotion, including, but not limited to, Interline, Travel Agent, Travel Agent Friends and Family, weekly Sales Events, Net Rates, Crown & Anchor Discounts, Shareholder Benefits or Next Cruise offers, promotions, or benefits.

This topic seems to confuse me. So since i already booked my 2015 cruise, if i start playing i cant get anything since i already booked. So if i want to cruise in March lets say I have to have the points while I book my cruise and say hey i would like to get a obc ? or do you have to have the points before you book ?

My wife has spoken to Royal and she tells me you can use rewards for booked cruises.... Buy the package call Royal with the confirmation and they add it to your booking. Only 1 reward per reservation so choose carefully. Also you can buy the beverage package for 140000 pts and upgrade to premium for 100 on a 7 night... Not sure if all parties have to buy in.... Sent

Great news!! Does it have to be added by your TA if the existing reservation was booked through a TA?

I'm out.
At least for redeeming on RC. I feel like I'd have to devote a good chunk of my life playing this for less gain than I'd get using C&A plus other promos.

Maybe in 10 years I'll have enough for a free drink in Vegas.

If it's similar to redeeming Visa points, the TA would have to approve anything that changes the price of the cruise.

We booked online so not sure... As for all parties having to buy in to the program she was told no.. Frustrating thing is there is a separate number to have the rewards added to your reservation but they are closed today? Friends of ours sailing with us used their rewards for the casino and ha had it added to their reservation already.

I purchased awards from the beginning day of this promotion and find so far the % off awards are useless. The 40 and 50 percent off awards are for a very limited number of cruises (33) within the next six months or so and many of the cabin categories are sold out or definitely least desirable cabins. I am attempting to call today to see what the real discount is on the 35% off rate since others on myVegas forums posted that the rate they were given was 35% off the full (normal) rate and not the currently published rate on line such as the 1st traveler is full fare and the 2nd travels at 1/2 price. Will hopefully get an answer this morning.

2 Questions --
What is the number to call?
If you book directly with RCI, do you call the Cruise Vacation Specialist to have rewards applied to a booking that you have already made?
