In March, the Ruby Princess docked at Wharf 1, near the Custom House Museum.

I mis-spoke , I checked my pictures and it was Fisherman's Wharf we were dropped off at. Sorry for my confusion. Don't know about any transport as we walked the coastal trail to the aquarium . About 1 1/2 miles each way.

We took the bus to the aquarium.

Last week on Star Princess, the tenders pulled up to Fisherman's Wharf.

We have been at Monterey several times for weekend get away and they always anchor just off Old Fisherman's Wharf and the tenders dock at the end of the Wharf.  You can walk up the wharf and catch the free Trolley.  It will take you along Cannery Row and to the aquarium.    Little known secret: don't go to the trolley stop at the head of the wharf as everybody will go there.  We usually stay at the Portola Plaza hotel and there is a trolly stop right in front.  It's prior to looping around to the Wharf stop, so if you walk a little way and get on by the hotel, you will be on when they go to pick up at the wharf.  Great food at Fisherman's Grotto we have been eating there for +40 years.
