Hi all,

I wasn't quite sure where to post this, but my family and I took a cruise to Bermuda on board the Norwegian Breakaway leaving from Pier 88 in NYC. I did a few blog posts about the cruise and what we did in Bermuda and figured I could share them here.

Thanks!

So, I just looked at the first picture and noticed the big gun pointed at the ship

Curtis - how was the cabin?
Nice Vicki. I did take a couple "spy" photos of the balcony's though they were all the same. They all had loungers in place. ;) Busy today but do plan on doing a photo enhanced brief review (not much of a writer) in the next few days.

Thank you for sharing your review & photos! Great pictures!

My husband & I will be on the Breakaway in a couple of weeks & found this very helpful. We are also photographers.

We are also going to tour the island on our own & plan on getting the 3 day transportation passes. Were the lineups long to purchase the passes?

Great Pics - Good Eye for composition too! If you don't mind, what camera did you use for these shots? I fancy myself to be semi-unprofessional shooter. I also know that most of the time it's the one pressing the shutter button that usually makes the difference between an OK and a great Pic.

I have ordered a Nikon D5200 that I will need to get familiar with before our 9/22 Breakaway cruise. I usually take about a 600 to 800 pics and probably end up with about 50 "keepers".

Again, Great Job!

We were off the ship about 9:15 and there were 4 ppl ahead of us. There is also a kiosk (small yellow bldg) by the ferries before the tour kiosks.

Hi Chetsky apologies it took me so long to get back to you, the camera body that I shot those photos with is a Nikon D700 with the use of several lenses, a 24-70mm f/2.8, a 50mm f/1.8 and an 80-200mm f/2.8.

Hope that helps and thanks! It all takes time and practice to get your keeper rate higher so keep on shooting!:)
