What about Connie Jan 25, 2015.?

Is B the pier right in town?

Hi HCAT,

Mr Sloop & I love Key West... We go often.

It goes... Mallory - Pier B - then Mole / Navy. Ships line up in a row, west to east.

They all have very easy access to town / Duval Street which is just over a couple of blocks parallel to the Pier (although Mallory seems the closest but it is at the far end of Duval on the Gulf side). It is however closest to the shops on Front Street and "the Bight" where a good deal of Pax head for.

Mallory tends to be for smaller ships. Pier B is outside of the Westin Hotel (sometimes it s actually called The Westin Pier). Mole / Navy Pier is the furthest out but still technically "in town" (look at a map) one you cannot walk from because it is a secure site (working Navy Base) ... So they run a shuttle for Cruise Ships docking there.

Pier B is actually a great spot, you can walk the Boardwalk towards Mallory Square or zip out straight off the ship via the side streets to Front / Duval... We will do the latter... on our upcoming cruise to avoid the slow moving masses who don't know their way around. Easy to enjoy Mallory at the end of day when coming back to the ship... As the area is then ALIVE with action as it prepares for the daily Sunset Extravaganza.

* ADD - Looks like The Constellation is the lone ship in port that day. You will be at Pier B.

Hope this helps,

Cheers!
