Easter Wind

Thanks for your kind thoughts. Arrived at SJU at 21:30 last night and met by SS rep at the baggage belt. One of our three couples bags were the last off the belt so made it to the Sheraton at about 10:30.

Happy to fall into bed at about 4 am UK time.

A little cloudy this morning, but 25c.

A quick trip from the Sheraton to the Port, surprisingly asked for our cruise tickets by the Port Security, first time in many years. One poor lady had to delve into her suitcase to extract it. Met Antonio who was stretching his legs, he is on for the crossing, but both Colin and Daniel leave in Ft Lauderdale. A shame for us as we had expected them to be on for the crossing.

Anyway, on the ship by 12:45, crept into the suite which was ready. Only thing missing is a note for the Meet and Mingle, so perhaps not today.

Lunch and a glass of Sav Blanc beckons.

Enjoy your time aboard!

A spring wind and Easter fete!

Thanks Spinnaker2, we left San Juan at 6pm, approx 280 guests on board including quite a few kids. Hit the swell outside the heads and we are now rocking and rolling our way towards St Barts for a French Easter Saturday.

Double checked, nothing found.

I like the new furniture and fabrics in the Obs Lounge

We were on board when they did this. One day , old stuff - next day, all new. It caused us a quite a double-take when we walked in, i can tell you!

Hapoy Easter Silver Spectre and Mrs Spectre.

Lovely pics, particularly the sun on the water at St Barts. I didnt make this port due to a minor earthquake creating too much swell for the tender operation.

Hope the weather remains calm and all good wishes for your bridge!

Kindest regards

Master Echo

Appears most of the yachts have left for the season.

Apart from Abramovich's there is one other monster, a medium sized one, a large sailing ship and one other docked. Only one hotel open I think at present, but most villas still rented.

Eclipse was docked in San Juan last March when we were on the Wind. St Barth's was our favourite as the bucket regatta was on.

Happy Easter one and all.

Lovely day in Tortola, British Virgin Ils, nice people, but such a shame to see the extensive property and boat hurricane damage. Lots of new roofs going on and the marina life is thriving again.

Well done SS with a good, complimentary tour and an excellent local guide.
